So, someone thought this picture was super corny, but this is what you get when your wife does Picture of the Day! Laura was super excited to give Daddy a big kiss as he packs his suitcase. Andy leaves tonight for Colorado to ride Mount Evans and the Copper Triangle Alpine Cycling Classic with Big Tree Cycling. We will miss you Andy, but have a great time and a safe ride! We love you!
Laura’s birthday presents from Grandpa Ken and Grandma Marilyn arrived from Amazon today – a new Barbie and a Project MC2 doll! She is very excited to do the experiment that came with the Project MC2 doll. Thanks Grandpa and Grandma!
We ventured to Moberly, MO, today to go to the Moberly Aquatic Center. We used a realtor Open House at our house as an excuse, but we definitely will be going back. It was inexpensive ($14 for all of us) and had lots of fun features like a high diving board and a family slide. We all had a great time!
I am proud of the kids. Despite being scared, they went off the high diving board! And, not just once, but multiple times. For the first time, Laura slowly walked to the end, looked down, and then jumped…
…but not our John! He ran and jumped. True boy.
What a great few hours of fun! In case you were wondering, we did have a few people attend the open house. Hopefully, we will receive an offer on our house…

It was a perfect afternoon at Wilson’s Beach Club with friends.
We enjoyed an early dinner at Flat Branch. It was tasty food that included Bluesberry Ale for Andy and I and Tiger Stripe Ice Cream for the kids.
We knew this was going to happen from someone who looked at our house, but it is still frustrating. They loved the house, but they can’t deal with the backyard.
