Andy and I had some time and no kids this afternoon, so we walked to Agave for drinks and appetizers. It was a great way to spend some time with my husband!
Tree Lighting Ceremony
We went to the tree lighting ceremony for The Magic Tree tonight. You really do *not* realize how bright 35,000 Christmas lights can be when turned on all at once. Very bright, but beautiful!

Christmas Tree
We decorated our Christmas Tree today. It took me a while to get it up and all the lights on, but it was worth it. I always enjoy decorating the tree with the kids. Laura and John especially enjoy hanging their “yearly ornaments.” They get a new ornament each year for our tree and eventually these ornaments will all be given to them.
John’s favorite ornament is his “Baby’s 1st Christmas” ornament.
I think the end result is beautiful! It really feels like the Christmas season has begun now!
