The best news that I have had all day… The appraisal on 401 Harold Court came back and we are cleared to close! It appears that the stars have aligned for Andy and I for what may be the first time ever. To our Harold Court neighbors, we love you and we will absolutely miss you, but we will only be ten minutes away and all of us have cars!
The boxes are really starting to pile up.
Tonight, was John’s last baseball game of the Fall season. He only got to bat one time, but he made some great defensive plays while playing First Base.
Laura, on the other hand, spent most of the game reading… Maybe some day she really will like watching baseball?!?
It was another great season and John really learned a lot from his coach. We have a short break and then on to basketball!
Laura’s Girl Scout troop held their monthly meeting at The Canvas on Broadway. The girls, and some parents, had a fantastic time. Laura’s first question to me when I picked her up was, “Mom, do you think I can hang this in my new room?” Absolutely Kiddo!
We spent the evening with great friends at the annual Van Hove Hayride and Bonfire. What a great way to spend a Saturday night! Also, we hit a new milestone. The Kassel kids went on the first Hayride without us, leaving us to hang out with some good friends and chat over good beer. Little bits of freedom.
