Laura is *not* a morning person, but it is more obvious on some mornings than others…
Fitness Goals
Because life always gets crazy this time of year with all of our activities, I decided to set fitness goals over the course of the year week by week. That way, if I have a particularly busy week and I can only fit in 30 minutes of exercise a day, then that will be my goal. Hopefully, this will lead to less frustration, which will prevent me from stopping working towards the weekly goals. This week’s goal was to break 100,000 steps for the first time ever and I made it! My body is really feeling it though…
Family Night
We surprised the kids with tickets to the “Jay Owenhouse: Dare to Believe” show at Jesse Auditorium. Jay is an illusionist and it was a really fun show! The kids were so excited and loved the entire show. We all had a really great time and I am so glad that Andy found out about the show. The kids were even more excited to have Jay sign the souvenir program after the show. It was a great night with the family!
Pink Out!
Pinewood Derby!
On My Way
Music!
Andy and Laura went to Smithton Middle School this evening for those kids that are interested in playing in Band and/or Orchestra next year. Laura got to try out the different instrument families, settling on the clarinet as her first choice, the trumpet as her second choice, and the violin as her final. The choice will be made based on what her middle school needs for next year. I am hoping that she does get the clarinet!
