Pinewood Derby Car Time!
It is Pinewood Derby Car time again! The design for John’s car is complete and the wood is ready to be cut.
This year, he will have a Formula One car. Andy and John went out to a friend’s house this afternoon to get the basics cut. Thanks to Jason Lockwood for his time and tools!
Now, on to sanding and painting!
Girl Scout Cookies!!!
I am very proud of this kid! She sold 282 boxes of Girl Scout Cookies this year. Thanks to everyone who supported Laura’s troop and to Uncle Jeremy for hitting up all your friends too! If you still need cookies, we can get more. For those who ordered, look for delivery in the next couple of weeks. It is time to sort some cookies!

Three Months
It has been three months since my seizure. I still don’t know the cause, but I am lucky because all test results have been perfectly normal. It could have been much worse. I also learned some things over the past few months.
- I have really great friends who have driven me and my kids around when Andy couldn’t and coworkers getting me to work and sometimes home after work.
- I know that some things that cause stress in life are worth it (our new home), but that sometimes letting go and moving on is what is necessary (my current job).
- When you are used to being independent, being dependent on others is HARD.
- I realized I don’t give my husband enough credit sometimes. My partner in life has stepped up when I really needed him to and I know that he will be there when I am at my worst.
Thanks to everyone who has been there for us. It means more than you know.
