Wow, we were young. Twenty-three years ago, you took me on our first date. I thought I was a little bit crazy, because I certainly wasn’t looking for a relationship. Still, I thought it might be fun for a while. I didn’t realize then that “a while” meant “lifetime,” and, that through it all, you would always be right there with me. Sometimes, a little bit of fun in your life is all you need. I love you, Andy!
Every weeknight, I prep lunches for the next day, including getting lunchboxes ready. It can be annoying, but it really makes the next morning a lot easier.
We biked up to Agave for dinner. Yum!

I am sad that Flat Branch chose not to release the Great Pumpkin Ale on Halloween like usual, but I am happy to drink it early!
It was the last baseball game of the fall season tonight. We got to watch John pitch a great fourth inning and hit the game-winning RBI! It was a great way to close out the season. Way to go John!
Now, we have a decision to make. John’s coach asked us if we were interested in John playing on a competitive team in the Spring. Coach Sands said he was going to get together costs and more information for us. We talked about it on the way home a bit and John initially said he was not interested. We told him that the time has come. He really is a truly coachable, good ballplayer, and, if he wants to keep playing, he has to take the next step. Decisions, decisions…
