My home office is legitimate now. I put my nameplate on the door. It seemed dumb to throw it away, so I figured, “Why not hang it up?”

We have a dove nest in one of our front hanging plants, and Jim is obsessed. He has spent so much time the last few days sitting at the front door and intently staring at the hanging plant.

John attended his last Scout meeting tonight as he will age out of Scouts in July when he turns 18. He spent his time meeting with Mr. Savage to sign off more requirements for his last two merit badges on his path to Eagle. It is hard to believe that this was the last because he has been in Scouting since he was in First Grade.

My home office is complete as everything is now back in place. The new sofa bed really stands out now.

What I love most is that everything pops now – especially these paintings from the kids.

I love the blue so much. My office is complete!

Andy did all the trim work and edging.

I did all the rolling.

By the end of the day, the painter’s tape had been removed, all the outlet and light switch covers had been put back, and the furniture was in place.

Tomorrow, I will rehang everything and my home office will be complete!

I spent part of the evening taking down all the pictures and then taping the trim and doors in my home office. We paint tomorrow!
