Andy and I are celebrating just a little. I got this instant message in Teams late this afternoon.

Hopefully, my promotion to Director of the Assessment Resource Center will finally be complete soon! It has been a long three months working on getting this completed.

It was a good bottle of wine and some time with my husband this evening.

I was finally well enough to spend the entire time at a Mid-MO Stars practice. It was so great to see our baseball family of five years. We won’t know for two weeks if John will be playing for Hickman or the Stars during the spring, but the ballfield is definitely calling…

Hickman Jazz Lab performed at the Mizzou Jazz Fest today. Both kids decided to participate in this voluntary group, and they love it! Jazz Lab earned two “1” ratings and received high compliments from the judges for making jazz sound great with such a large group. Great job, Hickman Jazz Lab!

I remember the days when I could make a 9 X 9 pan of Hash Brown Casserole and half of it would be left. These days, a 9 X 13 pan is not enough especially when John has three helpings.

I have been staring at the television a lot since Monday. This virus is kicking my butt. All I have done for three days now is work from home and watch television. If only sleep could be part of the equation…
