Going Through Life One Blog Post at a Time

It was the final band concert of the 2022-2023 school year.

John was in Concert Band this year and they played four songs.

Laura was in Symphonic Winds this year and they played three songs.

All the bands sounded great! Now, we wait for band placements for next year.
We went up to Agave for a delayed Cinco de Mayo celebration.

Andy and I went up early to enjoy a couple of margaritas. Then, the kids joined us for dinner.

It was a beautiful afternoon to enjoy some time outside with good drinks and fun conversation.

We have baby finches on our front porch.

We also have baby robins on our back deck.

I guess birds really like nesting on our house!
Laura is prepped and ready to take her second AP exam this week. Up today is the US History exam. Good luck, Kid!


After three hours at the Hickman Baseball concession stand on what was probably the biggest night of the year, I told Andy that I was not cooking. My back hurts; my feet are sore; and I got 8,000 steps while in the concession stand. I am exhausted and I am going to sit in my chair and enjoy wine from the largest glass that I could find.
