Happy Halloween! Halloween looks a lot different when you have teenagers…

However, I am so glad that the Things have great friends to spend it with!

Of course, Andy and I got home too late to take a picture with all the teens.

John’s Affirmation of Baptism was today.

Despite being super nervous to participate in the confirmation service, John did a great job. He stumbled a bit when reading his faith statement, but he was honest and funny all at the same time.

To John, I know you never intended for anyone except for Pastor David to read your faith statement but being pushed outside your comfort zone is a positive in life. Your Dad and I are extremely proud of you! Congratulations, J! We love you to the moon and back!

I love these new wine glasses that Andy found at Michaels. Happy Hallo-wine!

It was the final marching band event of the year – the banquet. It was fun watching the kids hang out, be silly, and wrap up the season.

The cakes were great…

…but the slide show and friendships made throughout the season were even better.

Until next year, Hickman High School Marching Band!
