The Chili ingredient purchase has begun for the 5th Annual Kassel Halloween Party! Woo Hoo!

Twenty years ago, there was a beginning.  A girl went out on a date with a guy.  One date turned into two with many more to follow.  I still love date night with that guy even though it is hard to believe that twenty years have passed.  I love you Andy!

It happens now and then.  I took a five-mile walk in the morning and enjoyed coffee in the quiet house.  Andy and the kids had a great time on their camping trip arriving home about 1 pm.  We got everything put away from the camping trip and began the mountains and mountains of laundry.  I think it will be early to bed for ALL of us…

Andy took the kids camping for the night.  John has a camp out with his Cub Scout pack scheduled for October 24-25 and Andy wanted to get him used to sleeping in a tent.  I was supposed to go too, but I didn’t.  Let’s leave it at that.  Andy and the kids left about 5 pm and they had a great time despite the first chilly night of the season.  The kids loved having time with just their Daddy and Andy loved spending time with just them.  A great outing for the three of them!

In case you were wondering, I was tired and grumpy.  I went to bed at 7 pm.  It was a good thing I didn’t go…

These are my shiny, new Asics running shoes.  I am looking forward to trying these out at the gym tomorrow! And I am proud that for once I bought the good pair and didn’t skimp out on the cheap pair.
