While taking pictures off my camera today, I discovered this. It made me smile and laugh. The boy loves to take selfies.

John’s Pinewood Derby car is officially painted! He chose green and gold. John was excited to help Andy pull the tape off for the big “reveal.”
Next up is putting clear coat on the car. I am not sure who is having more fun prepping the car for the Derby on Saturday…
New School Shirts!
Makes Mornings Easier…
Setting the kids’ clothes out the night before makes mornings so much easier. That two minutes of time that it saves may not seem like much, but that is two minutes that I don’t have to constantly prod them to decide what to wear.
The Pie Crust
Passing on the knowledge to the fourth generation! It is Laura’s first apple pie with homemade pie crust. She’ll be making the family pie crust recipe with the best of them soon!
The Lord of The Rings
Recently, a lot of evenings in our house have been spent just like this. Andy is reading “The Lord of the Rings” series to the kids. They are nearly done with “The Fellowship of the Ring.” The kids are enjoying it and are looking forward to watching the first movie over spring break.
The Joys…
Oh the joys of home ownership… Ninety-five percent of the time, I love it. The other five percent, not so much. We are getting ready to install our third over-the-range microwave.
