Today was beautiful weather. I know it is technically still Winter, but you can tell that Spring has come to Missouri. Love it!
Time Goes Too Fast…
Ridgeway Fun Day!
It’s Fun Day! Laura is feeling great, the weather is beautiful, and it’s time to have fun! Kathryn joined us again this year along with Brayden, one of John’s best friends from our neighborhood. We did not see the girls much as they are old enough to go around by themselves. The boys enjoyed the sports games the most, and, of course, the Enviromaze was a huge hit. They collected quite a lot of fun prizes. When the tickets ran out, we headed outdoors for a Kona Ice and some playground time. Two highlights of the day:
- We won a Silent Auction prize that I love! Two dozen cookies per month for a year made by a friend of ours. Now, to decide where to start!
- We all helped tear down the Enviromaze. I am pretty sure that kids (both big and small) enjoyed that more than anything… Destruction! Destruction! Destruction!
Dinner Out!
Feeling Better
Finally, Laura is starting to feel better! We were talking about how she actually feels hungry and she said, “Just don’t make me angry because being hungry makes decision making shift to a different part of the brain and you lash out when you don’t mean to.” That’s my girl. All kinds of weird information stuffed in that pretty red head. She hasn’t said anything like that since Monday… She’s thinking again! Love. That. Kid.
Let the Mission Begin…
Sick…
It has been a long 18 hours. The Wee Ginger woke me up right about 2 am saying her stomach hurt. It was a night of very little sleep and it has been a long day. I really hope her stomach settles and she can get some good sleep tonight. She is miserable (and Mom is tired). Dad is on deck for tomorrow…
