It is John’s last baseball game of the spring season and our little baseball player has learned and improved so much. He is already looking forward to playing again in the fall!
Let Camp Mudd Begin!
It is the first day of Camp Mudd and the kids are ready to go! Bring on the summer fun!
Busy, Busy, Busy…
Today was busy, busy, busy – mostly because we had to unpack from the campout. And do laundry. And John had a birthday party. And Camp Mudd starts tomorrow.
Camping Fun!
It was a busy day with the Cub Scouts. The boys got to do a lot of different activities. I am pretty sure that they have earned a couple of belt loops on this camp out. First up was learning to throw arrows using an Atlatl. All the boys (and parents too!) thought this was just really cool. Although, really, they are boys. How could throwing arrows *not* be fun?!?
Next up was a hike to Graham Cave and learning all about hiking safety.
This was followed by lunch back at our campsites and knot tying. John learned to tie a square knot.
We spent the afternoon hanging out, enjoying time with the rest of the families, and watching a skit made up by the boys (and girls).
We finished the evening with s’mores and the boys telling jokes around the campfire. Not a bad way to spend a Saturday – even if it was really hot!
Camping with the Cub Scout Den
We are camping with John’s Cub Scout Den this weekend at Graham Cave State Park. There are five families here for a weekend. Let the fun begin!

My Birthday Present
My birthday present “from Andy” arrived today. It is a travel jewelry organizer. Hopefully, this will make carrying all my jewelry easier when we go to San Diego. It has lots of space so I do not have to be quite as picky. Happy Birthday to me!
