Some of you will be getting emails from Laura asking if you want to buy Girl Scout cookies. It is fine to say no. She wants to ask on her own without Daddy and I helping. I am proud of this kid for working hard towards her goal. Go Laura!
Basketball and Football
It was a busy day of sports (and fun) for John. First up was basketball practice that included his team’s first scrimmage. Their opening game of the season is this coming Friday!
Then, John got to enjoy a birthday party of flag football fun at the Missouri Athletic Center.
He was so tired when he got home that he crawled into bed without Andy or I making him. Who knew?!? John can get worn out! I call that “success!”
Sleepover!
John and his friend, Caleb, “planned” a sleepover for this weekend – as in, Andy and I and Vince and Becca found out about it yesterday. Fortunately, everything worked out and the boys get a sleepover tonight! To say they are excited is an understatement. It is also Caleb’s first sleepover *ever* so John declared that it will be fun! Have a great night boys!
Tired
Like Me…
I spent the day at home with Laura. She has a cold and was not well enough for school. I realized today that she is a lot like me when she is sick. The only time I saw Laura all day was to put on the next Star Wars movie. She even said to me this morning, “No offense, Mom, but leave me alone.” That is exactly something I would say….
