Our living room windows have been driving Andy crazy, so he decided to give both the insides and outsides a good cleaning today. Thank you to him because I *hate* cleaning windows!
Posters
Andy and John came home from the Missouri men’s basketball game with these posters. One is a tiger picture collage of the football team and the other is of the men’s basketball team based on the “Rogue One: A Star Wars Story” movie poster. I am looking forward to getting frames for these and hanging them in John’s bedroom. They will look great!
Basketball
It is basketball practice #2 for John!
Good Night Daddy!
These two just wanted to say good night to their Daddy who is currently stuck in Dallas waiting on a delayed flight. Looking forward to you being home soon even if it is much later than expected. We love you Andy!
Furniture!
Our new furniture was delivered right about noon today. The delivery went very quickly and it took me about an hour to get everything arranged. I love the new furniture! The chairs are a bit stiff, but both will get much more “sink-in comfy” with use.
The couch is pretty comfy already. I am very happy with our choices! We thought about getting the darker blue furniture, but the pebble color is perfect. The couch and chairs lighten the room, the coffee table and end tables provide the perfect amount of contrast, and the rug softens everything while providing some color. The room just has a relaxed, comfortable feel now. All we need now to check off another room from our list is curtains. Time to do some online shopping!
Girl Scout Cookies!
This Junior Girl Scout would LOVE to sell you some cookies! We would be happy to bring her by your house to sell (you will have to wait until next week for that because I can’t drive yet) or she can call you. You are also welcome to text, email, or call us and we can also ship cookies to you! If you don’t want the cookies, but want to donate, Laura’s troop also donates Cookie Share cookies to a local organization. Her goal this year is 300 boxes. Thanks in advance for your support of Laura and her Girl Scout troop. She is part of an amazing troop and she loves cookie season!
Packing
Andy is packing for the annual Sigma Chi Grand Praetor meeting. He flies out early tomorrow morning for San Diego. Normally, I would be jealous that he gets to go to sunny San Diego when it is supposed to be cold here, but our new furniture comes on Saturday! I’m excited!
