The Christmas cards for 2016 are starting to arrive!
Santa!
We went to Bass Pro Shops to visit Santa this evening. Laura asked for the American Girl Gourmet Kitchen and Pokémon Stuffed Animals. John asked for a mini basketball hoop for his bedroom and a ten-frame puzzle.
On a side note, Bass Pro Shops gives out free picture frames when you visit Santa on Mondays to Thursdays. It is actually a good quality frame. It was a nice surprise!
Christmas Pageant
Today was the St. Andrew’s Lutheran Church Christmas Pageant. Laura was a Wisewoman and John was a Shepherd.
Despite John’s apprehension over having to be part of the pageant (he was not thrilled to have to get up in front of everyone), both kids did great! I was highly amused that every time I took a picture, John turned to look and smile at the camera.
It is great to watch the kids be part of these traditions every year because they will be over way too fast.
Time to Tackle
It is time to tackle what has become known as our “Pit of Despair.” Now that the data wiring is done, we can finally get our storage areas arranged. I suspect this is going to take a couple of days…
Night Out
Andy and I get a night out with just us tonight to attend the Fifth Birthday party for Big Tree Cycling. It should be a fun night with Andy’s bicycling team. Looking forward to it!

Mail and Key Holder
I finally got around to getting a new mail and key holder. We have to have someplace to hold the key card for the pool in our subdivision!
