Easy Dinner
On nights when the kids have activities, which is a lot over the next couple of months, it is easy dinner at the Kassel Castle. I am enjoying a beer while I make tonight’s entrée of Stroganoff Hamburger Helper.
Paint the Town
Laura’s Girl Scout troop went to Paint the Town today for a fun activity. She came home with a new painting for her wall. Time to switch the flower painting for the heart painting!
Day of Firsts!
While Andy took John for his first Waffle House experience (he loved it!)…
…I took Laura to her first Upward Cheer game of the year. She did great! I am going to miss seeing her in a cheer uniform next year.
Then, we all went to see John play his first Upward Basketball game of the year. He also did well and scored a couple of points. His team lost, but it was a good effort.
Bring on the next two months. Kassel life is about to get crazy!
Fifties!
Someone dressed in the “Fifties style” for West Middle School WinterFest tonight. I think Laura looks super cute. Thanks to Jennifer for loaning us the poodle skirt, poodle socks, and scarf. Love it!

Night with the Women
After a rough day at work, it was so very nice to get together with the CycleX Wednesday Women! We missed the ones who couldn’t make it and we loved the one who joined us for the first time! These women pick me up and make me laugh no matter how my day went. I can’t wait to hear “Wheels Up at 6 pm” again!
