It is a big group tonight. Eighteen people showed up to ride bikes!

We visited Home Depot and Menards tonight to look at deck railing. There are too many choices. My head is spinning. I think we have made a choice, but I hope I never have to do this again.

It’s what’s for dinner.

A professional photographer came to John’s baseball practice today to take some team pictures, individual pictures, and random shots from practice. This was taken at the end of practice. Everybody in! I am looking forward to seeing the rest.

We went to the Morels & Microbrews Festival in Fulton. We have been wanting to go for years, but finally made it over there.

I had forgotten how much I love morel mushrooms. I never realized how lucky I was to eat these mushrooms for free as a kid. We did buy a pound of morels to bring home. Sometimes, you just have to splurge!

There were also about thirty different beer tents and Andy and I wandered along and tried a lot of new beers.

It was a beautiful day and it was great to spend some time with Andy!
Phase one of Operation Kassel Castle Deck rebuild is complete thanks to two days of hard work by Keith Dothage and Andy! We have new joists, support posts, and a support beam in place! The deck is rock solid. Who knew that a deck isn’t supposed to bounce when you walk on it?!? Now, it is time to shop for deck boards and railing and to decide where to place the new stairs.

I really had a great night’s sleep. The CPAP made a huge difference. My oxygen level was right at 90% and my AHI index dropped from an average of 10.34 per hour to 1.5. I actually feel quite refreshed today.
