Shakespeares!

John pitched one inning tonight. He was very nervous at first, and he walked a few batters. Once he settled down, he did really well, and he even struck out one of the batters. He will definitely be pitching more as his coaches were impressed. Great job, #51!

Sue Cunningham laid down the challenge earlier this summer to Laura. So, four friends are preparing for a night in a tent in the backyard with no electronics! Will these teenagers survive?!?

By the way, Laura asked how they could prove that they did not use electronics if they don’t have phones to take pictures as documentation. We gave her my old point-and-shoot camera…

The girls made it until about 10 pm when they heard noises coming from the trees. I am sure it was just wildlife, but they all got scared and came inside. They got five hours without electronics!
Andy and I went to 44 Canteen this afternoon to celebrate my promotion from Senior Coordinator to Assistant Director! It is official September 1 and I will receive the same salary that I am currently making as Interim Director. Sometimes, things really do work out.
