We now have eight years of Girl Scout cookie “thank you” pictures hanging on the side of the refrigerator. Eight years….

Thank you to all who purchased Girl Scout cookies from Laura. Delivery starts tomorrow!

It was a day of competing activities for the kids. Laura had Northeast Missouri All-District Band in Macon, MO. Laura was one of seven kids selected from West Middle School. I drove up to see the concert. The band sounded great for only one day of practice and Laura had a great experience.

Meanwhile, Andy and John went to the Pack 2 Blue and Gold Banquet. Wilson Creech crossed the bridge from Cub Scouts to join Troop 706. It is the first time that John has participated in the ceremony for a friend. Congratulations Wilson!

Hug your kids. Hug your spouse/significant other. Hug your friends. Hug your co-workers. I lost a co-worker today to a heart attack and I am so sad. Aaron always, always had a smile for me even if he was upset. I just saw him Monday and we joked about my “good beer” versus Bud Light. I had a “good beer” for him today, but I can’t believe he won’t be at work tomorrow. Rest in peace, my friend.

We are officially past Andy having to cut John’s hair. This is his second time at Sport Clips and he seems to really enjoy it.
