Someone got new glasses today! I keep thinking Laura is going to want contacts some day, but she really loves glasses.

The Mid-Mo Stars added two more wins tonight. They won the first game against the Hallsville Braves 15-1. John played well and hit a triple down the third base line. Our boy seems to love the full count when batting because that is when he hits his best.

The boys won the second game 15-0. John got to pitch the final inning of the third game and went three up, three down. He was much more comfortable on the mound this time, throwing only seven pitches. I doubt he will ever be a starting pitcher, but he just might make a good reliever.

It is time to try out the new coffee pot! One side makes a carafe and the other side makes individual cups.

I chased a guy on the trail for almost 22 miles today. It had been quite a while since I have been on a bike and I am out of shape, but I still maintained a 13.4 mph average. That is good enough for me!

It was Laura’s first marching experience with the Hickman High School band, and she even stayed in step. When Laura met up with us in the fourth quarter, she told us that she is joining marching band next year. I think she liked it…
