We drove to Springfield today to visit the Wonders of Wildlife Museum and Aquarium inside the original Bass Pro Shops.

While it was on the pricey side, it was quite impressive.

It is incredibly well-designed and very fun to walk through.

The kids had a great time crawling through the tunnels to “appear” inside the fish tanks.

We even got to touch the stingrays.

It was a fun day! In case you were wondering, we did celebrate New Year’s Eve. It just happened early. Happy 2020!

Check another thing off the vacation bucket list! We went to see the newest “Star Wars” movie today. The Kassels all agreed that it was great and a fitting end (though I am sure another trilogy will pop up soon, so it probably isn’t the “end”).

This year’s Christmas card picture board is complete!

Let the work begin!

We have talked about going to Warm Springs Ranch at Christmastime for a few years now, but never seemed to quite make it. Well, that changed this year.

I am so glad we went. The horses and facility are amazing. We got to have our picture taken with Pride. He has been part of all three Budweiser hitch teams and has appeared in a few of the commercials.

The kids loved seeing the horses and getting to pet a few of them.

We will be visiting again next year and also hope to take a private tour sometime this year. You can say what you want about Budweiser, but they provide an amazing facility and take meticulous care of these beautiful horses. It is a site to see!
