Laura loves listening to audio books, so we got a subscription to Audible about a year ago. Sometimes, I get a real chuckle out of the books she picks…

Laura and the other kids in the 8th Grade Confirmation class sold firewood this weekend to help raise money for their Rainbow Trail trip this coming summer. Between sales and donations, they made over $350 today!

Laura’s first Quiz Bowl tournament for West Middle School was today at Columbia Independent School. The team placed third overall! Congrats to the West Middle School team!

My day consisted of icing and elevating my ankle and taking ibuprofen. Admit it. You are jealous of me.

New janitors at work meant too much water on the floor after mopping. Leave it to me to find that water and almost fall. I sprained my ankle when I slid into the wall.

Because of that, we went out to dinner. Since I can’t stand for long periods of time, Camacho Coffee Stout is on the dinner menu for me. Don’t worry… I will be fine by Sunday. It just hurts a lot today.

This weekend is John’s backpacking campout for Boy Scouts. Tonight, Andy helped him pack. It was interesting listening to the conversation as Andy explained how to prep the backpack. All that is left to add is water and food.
