I have completed 18 activities on Strava for April and I have lost 10 pounds since the University moved to remote work. Today’s walk was 5 miles along the Bear Creek Trail.

I set a goal at the beginning of 2020 to have 186 activities on Strava for the year, and then I did virtually nothing. I am very much trying to change that. I have completed 30 activities so far, so I have 156 to go. I have 250 days left in the year. Hopefully, I can keep motivated!
Morning with Andy and afternoon with John…

I know we probably shouldn’t have, but we had to pick up a new master bathroom vent fan that Andy had ordered from Lowe’s anyway. We visited their Garden Center and came home with flowers for around the house. It is not as much as normal years, but it is better than nothing.

If nothing else comes out of this time at home, we have at least had the opportunity to try lots of new recipes. Up tonight is a copycat version of Flat Branch Pub & Brewing’s Artichoke Dip.

I even made homemade bread bowls.

It was incredibly tasty! It is time to add two more recipes to our database.
We had a robin build a nest on the support beam underneath our deck. It is actually a great place for a nest because it is very well protected. I have enjoyed watching her each day as she sits on the nest and carefully turns the eggs. We should have baby birds any day now.

So, it’s not like I have ever been tall. It also isn’t much of an accomplishment to be taller than me. However, the day is coming incredibly fast when I will be looking up to John and he is ONLY 11. I guess it is probably my fault for deciding to have kids with a person who can rest his chin on top of my head.
