Another Kassel Family Christmas tradition is complete.

This is our reaction to the Christmas decorations that were stolen from our front yard – a Nest doorbell. On the bright side, the doorbell was on sale and it came with a free Google Nest Hub. However, I still cannot believe that we need a video doorbell. It is both annoying and angering for me. Some people really suck.

When it snows, Andy rides. He went on a “snowventure” with four others from Big Tree Cycling. He rode about 32 miles down to the Missouri River and back. It was a beautiful ride through the snow with friends.

We spent the day enjoying one of our favorite Missouri towns – Hermann. We attended the Christkindl Market for the first time.

The market was small, but it was fun to see what the different vendors had at their booths. We found five, new ornaments for our Christmas tree, including this Santa ornament that John loved.

We ate lunch at the Vintage Restaurant at Stone Hill Winery. We visited the winery store afterwards and bought Sparkling White Grape Juice. It’s the best there is and the kids love it!

We ended the day visiting the Deutschheim State Historic Site and enjoying the Christmas displays.

It was a fun day and I am glad that we were finally able to make it to the Christkindl Market. Mostly, I was happy because both kids said they enjoyed it despite a little bit of boredom here and there. That’s a win in my book!

It is time to get pictures uploaded to Shutterfly. I am behind on making our 2020 calendars!

Two of my favorite things are wine and Christmas decorations. Well, yesterday, I discovered these little beauties at Aldi. Ugly Christmas sweaters for wine bottles for the bargain price of $3 each. I fought the urge yesterday, but with some encouragement from Andy, I returned today and bought them. Two of them light up and have three different settings! I think I have achieved Christmas decoration nirvana. My work here is done.
