I’ll Be There For You

Going Through Life One Blog Post at a Time

Along with the many cups, coffee mugs, etc., this came home today when Andy finished emptying his work cubicle. Apparently, Elvis used to hold bourbon.

Andy had an Elvis head in his cubicle. That used to hold bourbon. An Elvis head.
It only took nearly five hours, but John’s room is converted from a kid’s bedroom to a pre-teen bedroom! It was an afternoon of sorting toys and clothes, rearranging and removing furniture, and putting everything back.

It had to be done because John has many toys that he has not played with in years, and his computer needs to be moved to his room from Andy’s office. Andy will now be working permanently from home, so we ordered a new desk for his office to accommodate both his home and work computers. Also, we ordered John a small computer desk that will fit between the bed and the wall, so the cube shelving had to be moved.

Of course, I now have lots of toys to give away and I need to order a small cube organizer, but John’s bedroom looks great!

She finally decided to put down the books and paint today instead of read. It has definitely been a while.

It’s game day, so I figured I would take a photo or two of John before the uniform gets dirty.

I was struck by how much older he looks these days.

I guess time is not going to slow down.
