Laura performed with the Award Band this evening at Battle High School. The band has about 75 students from the six Columbia middle schools.

The band did a great job especially considering they only had two practices before the performance.

They will also perform on Wednesday at the CPS Music Extravaganza for the districts’ fifth graders. Laura is very much looking forward to this as she loved doing this last year and also because the kids get so excited.
This puzzle is hard. There are too many of the same colors. We are determined to finish – not today, but soon. Very soon.

It is Girl Scout Cookie time again! Pre-orders begin tomorrow! If you need your fix, just let us know. We have a girl that would love to sell to you. This year, Laura’s troop will not be getting individual prizes so that the troop gets more money per package. Also, if you love Thanks-A-Lots, make sure to get them now as they are being retired after this year.

You want to be at my house too. Homemade Chicago-style Pizza! It’s what’s for dinner.
