Happy Cinco de Mayo!

Going Through Life One Blog Post at a Time

I generally order a decent amount online, but this is more than normal…

John made us dinner this evening as part of a Scout project – Sausage, Potato, and Green Bean Foil Packets.

It was so delicious and it is absolutely a keeper. It would be fantastic on campouts.

If you want the recipe, you can find it here: https://damndelicious.net/2016/05/31/sausage-potato-green-bean-foil-packets/. You will not be disappointed!
I took four, glorious hours of vacation this morning to get in a ride. I got to see a great friend at the Scott Blvd. trailhead. I got to see the Big Tree.

I got to hope for a Station House opening sometime soon.

And, I got to smile at the Big Muddy.

On top of all that, I maintained a 14 mile per hour average speed, which has not happened in a long time. I am officially back to being able to ride multiple days in a row, and I could have easily gone another 20 miles today. Cheers to remembering all the reasons why I ride.

I may complain about him now and then, but I really am lucky. Andy does things like replace the master bathroom vent fan, which saves us lots of money.

I am sorry that he had to crawl around in the attic, but he earned husband points today!
