This is the third pair of baseball cleats since March. I bought these as the “just in case” pair. Now, John will probably need another pair before the last tournament in October. I am going broke replacing clothes and shoes!!! Stop growing, kid!!!

So, Laura can hyper focus on things. She never noticed that I took this picture and she did not reply when I said her name three times and asked three different questions. I applaud the focus. I just wish that it would not take ripping the book out of her hands to get her attention.

These were complete impulse buys, but together they will make a tasty dessert!

It was a beautiful Saturday afternoon with amazing friends and great beer!

A good friend dropped off some extra garden produce today. We give her all of John’s old clothes for her son and she gives us booze and produce. That is a win!

It is Laura’s first day dressed in Hickman High School gear.

And, yes, Laura will be a Kewpie for the next four years… The creator of the Kewpie doll went to Hickman High School, hence the mascot name. You can be just as freaked out as I am. I completely understand.
