I yelled up the stairs at the kids to ask a question. John responded and I swear that Andy answered me. When did my 12-year old son start sounding like his dad? Is it not enough that they look just like each other? Seriously, this mom is not ready. Time can just slow down.

So, it turns out that I actually do have a seasonal decoration addiction, but who possibly could turn down Halloween-themed wine glass charms that were only $5.70 for this set on Amazon?
It was not the first season of marching band that Andy and I wanted for Laura. She missed out on some amazing experiences – “real” band camp, no band uniforms, Friday night lights, and competitions. It didn’t matter though as she made the most of it! She did not miss a single practice, and she worked so hard.
I got to watch her perform with the Hickman High School Marching Band tonight and Andy gets to watch her tomorrow night. I was impressed with the band and the show was great! Here is hoping that you get to experience everything next year, kiddo! These memories are worth a lifetime!
There is nothing quite like paying 70 cents per gallon for 20 gallons of gas! I really do love Hy-Vee Fuel Saver sometimes.
