Going Through Life One Blog Post at a Time
I love Sunday night dinners in our Dining Room.

This afternoon, Troop 706 and Troop 523 presented wreaths to the American Legion Post 202 Honor Guard. This group of men have assisted in over 60 funerals of military veterans this past year.

When they return to the American Legion Post, they share a toast in remembrance of the veteran. Today, Laura and John were able to raise a glass of Hawaiian Punch as well, and then spend time talking to these men about their military service and how they assist now. Both kids really enjoyed it and it was an important experience for all the Scouts.

The West Middle School Winter Band Concert was this evening.

The bands have come so far especially given that the last band concert at West Middle School was 733 days ago.

All the bands sounded great and it was fun to watch!
Andy took this picture on his most recent bike ride. The tree looks so beautiful.

We went to the Veterans United light display this evening. We waited about an hour in the car to be able to drive through and see the different displays set up on their campus.

They had many different types of lights, but my favorites were the different animals.

They had a giant reindeer…

…and, they had real reindeer!

It was a lot of fun to see the different lights, and all of us enjoyed the different displays.

Andy found these outdoor tree decorations at Ace Hardware. I love all the different settings! He is still working on hanging them as we have eight total, but I really love the way they look.
