Going Through Life One Blog Post at a Time
I am excited to set up my new Kindle e-reader. I will be able to read outside again without the glare.

When you get a chance to watch the Cavaliers Drum and Bugle Corps rehearse, you go. My band geek heart is happy tonight. That’s a lot of brass! The bleachers were actually vibrating from the sound.

While John and I are in Chesterfield, Missouri, for baseball,…

…Andy and Laura are riding around the Big Tree to complete the 25-mile bike ride requirement for Laura’s Cycling merit badge.

This baseball-loving, video-game playing, continually-growing “Mantelope” is 14 today! He may look like a slightly shorter version of his Dad, but he is really a pretty cool mix of both of us. Happy Birthday, John! We love you to the stars and back!

Somehow, I blinked and Laura Marianne went from baby to Sweet Sixteen. It just does not seem possible.

Laura is quite the young woman. She is beautiful. She is intelligent. She gets straight As. She reads. She is a First Class Scout. She loves Marching Band. She is definitely a Daddy’s girl. She is as stubborn as they come. She loves bread. She rides bikes. She draws. She is a gamer. She reminds me of my mom.

Happy 16th Birthday, Red! We love you to the moon and back!

The kids are off to Marching Band practice!
