This kid is amazing. Laura set a goal to read 50 books in 2022 and this is book #50. As she said, “Apparently, I should have set a higher goal!”

It is official. John is a Star Scout!

Andy and the kids are headed to Scout Camp at Camp Hohn on July 3. What will I be doing while they are gone, you ask? Well, I will be eating all those grilled cheese sandwich recipes that I have been saving on Pinterest and making homemade ice cream. If the rest of the Kassel Family is lucky, there will be five tubs of homemade ice cream to enjoy when they return.

This was an actual text conversation with John today. We pick him up on Friday from Scout Camp, and we told him that he has to shower before he gets in the car with us.

We finally decided it was time to try again with a poinsettia. This one is loving the outdoors!

John is off to Camp Geiger. Have a great week (and try not to drink too many slushies…)!
