There are days when I am so thankful for my handy husband. Tonight, he replaced the heating element in our dryer. It is now time to do lots and lots of laundry!

It was the Winter Court of Honor for Troops 523 and 706 tonight.

Laura and John earned the “Citizenship in Society” merit badge, and both received beads for over 20 service hours. Laura was also recognized for earning the “Star” rank. Congratulations to both of them!

It was Scout Sunday, and Troops 523 and 706 participated in the 8:30 am service at St. Andrew’s Lutheran Church. Laura did a reading, and both kids were assisting ministers for Communion. It was great to see the Scouts giving back to their charter organization.

Anytime that I get a picture texted to me from Menards, I get worried. At least, they did not actually buy this. You think I would have learned by now to never let Andy and Laura go by themselves…

The 2023 calendar has finally arrived.

There is just something about spending an hour with Andy while we drink great beer.

We tried a new breakfast recipe, Monte Cristo Crepes, for dinner. These were so very good. I will be adding this one to the recipe database!
