I am still trying to get the clay dirt from Alabama out of John’s white baseball pants. I am starting to think that these are going to be his practice pants…

It was a beautiful night for baseball. The Hickman Kewpies C Team won both games by the run rule. Great job, boys!

One unexpected thing obtained on our trip to Alabama was a rock chip in the windshield. Andy took the Explorer over to Safelite today, so they could take a look. Dora gets repaired on Wednesday (just in time for our trip to South Carolina)!

John grew another inch since January.

This is one of Laura’s favorite spots to read.

It is time to attempt to clean the baseball pants now that we are home. Somehow, I do not think that Shout Gel is going to get the clay dirt out of these white baseball pants. It is time to do some research…

When you are so close, you go.

Talledega Superspeedway was a really neat experience for all of us. We got to go into the broadcast booth.

We got to take a lap on the track and see the 33 degrees of banking. It is really steep, and Andy had to crab walk down after climbing up to the wall.

The highlight for me was standing on the start-finish line.

I am so glad that we discovered just how close Talladega was to the VRBO where we stayed. It was so fun to go!
