Andy and I attended the Brave Event for Great Rivers Council this evening. It is a volunteer recognition ceremony and two people that we know from Troop 706 were receiving awards. Matt Pigg was Laura’s Eagle coach and is John’s Eagle coach too. His business, Pigg Construction, gives so many hours in service to Scouting.
Dan Hickey is the Troop 706 Committee Chair. He received the District Award of Merit for his work with different Cub Scout packs and Troop 706.
