Laura bought Jim a SEMO pet bandana for Christmas. Jim is not particularly thrilled to be wearing it, but he also is not fighting it. That is a win!
Character
Laura has not drawn anything in quite a while, but she got inspired today. Her best friend is going to participate in a Dungeons and Dragon campaign, and she needed a character. Enter Detective Harrison Fish. Sometimes, you just need a friend to get you going again.
More Packing
While I am still packing up Christmas decorations, I am getting close to being done. I did meet my goal of four boxes tonight!
Cat Cuddles
For a cat who does not like to cuddle, Jim is definitely cuddly tonight.
First Day
I asked Laura for a first day of Spring Semester picture, and she sent this. It is two of her best friends from marching band after their first day of Concert Band. Have a great Spring Semester, Ladies!
Open Door
Laura’s bedroom door is open again. I am happy that she loves college and SEMO, but it is hard when she first goes back to school.
Last Day
We wrapped up our trip to Cape Girardeau today taking in more basketball games.
Both the women’s and men’s teams lost, but the Show Band sounded great!
After the games were over, we dropped Laura off at her dorm with big goodbye hugs.
Spring Semester starts on Monday!
