Prairie Fume from Wollersheim Winery is a gift that Dad and Marilyn bring down for us from Wisconsin. We got six bottles for Christmas this past year. It was our wine of choice this evening. Oh and Dad? We are down to two bottles. Think you might need to visit soon and help us restock our wine chillers! 🙂
Tired
Tired kids (too much excitement from swimming lessons) and a tired husband (not feeling 100% and on-call for work with the 3 am phone call very early this morning) makes for a tired me. It’s all good though. 🙂 It was beautiful weather today and just a good day! Finishing up cleaning the kitchen and then off to dreamland…..
phamy.wordpress.com
So, I’ve had a couple of people say, “Where did your blog web address come from?” The “wordpress.com” you get from the site. The “phamy” part is a small description of me. For those of you who don’t know, Andy and I play a game called World of Warcraft. It’s a massively multiplayer online role playing game (MMORPG). My main character in game is “Phamyn” (or Famine). Andy came up with that name when I was first thinking of playing. We thought it went well with “Playghue” (or Plague), which was Andy’s main character at the time. Over the past four years, I’ve come to be leading a great group of people called a “guild.” We are the Aging Gamers of the Dunemaul realm. Aging Gamers is made up of a group of over 100 adults that just enjoy playing the game. It’s an awesome group of people and I have the privilege of leading them! In guild, I’m known as “Pham,” but one night someone called me “Phamy” and I thought it was cute. Insert blog website address. 🙂

Valentine’s Day Preparations
We spent a little bit of time preparing for Valentine’s Day tomorrow. Laura and I made cards on my computer and then printed them. She colored them for her daycare friends, Cheryl, and Grandma Sylvia.
Laura was very proud of the completed Valentine’s Day cards!
While at Moser’s Foods yesterday, I asked Laura what kind of cookies she wanted to make for her daycare friends. She saw this cake and decided that’s what she wanted! So Chocolate Heart Cake it is!
You’ll note the cake has a blue bow. They also had a cake with a red bow, but Laura said that we couldn’t get that cake. Why you ask? Because girls can’t wear red bows…except for Laura because red bows match her pretty hair.
