For the first time, we have an Advent calendar. It is something that we had wanted to do in past years, but I never seemed to remember to actually buy the calendar. I found this “No Room at the Inn” calendar on Amazon and we all love it. Every night, Laura opens the window and reads the verse. Both kids look forward to it and Andy and I love to listen to Laura read the verses to John.

Annual Christmas Party
We went to the Musket’s Annual Christmas Party this evening. Thanks to Grandma Marilyn and Grandpa Ken for watching the kids so that Andy and I could have a night out. The party was a good time as always and it was great to see people that we had not seen in a while. We also got lucky enough to see Santa and Mrs. Claus! Some things just never get old…
Girl Scout Sleepover!
Laura has a sleepover tonight with her Girl Scout troop. To say she is excited is an understatement! She even wore her Girl Scout t-shirt today.
I dropped her off about 6:30 pm and the girls were already crafting. Also on the agenda are cookie making, games, and sleeping. Well, maybe not a lot of sleeping, but some anyway… Laura is most looking forward to making her own wreath. Her goal is to make a beautiful one that we can hang up in our house to add to our Christmas decorations. I expect to have a very tired girl tomorrow!
