Going Through Life One Blog Post at a Time
We have a limited time frame to get all the presents wrapped! Tonight’s goal is to finish all the presents from Andy and I to the kids. Nothing like waiting until the last minute! (And, yes, I realize it’s not *literally* the last minute, but this counts as the last minute for me!)
It was Pizza Hut for dinner to use the kids’ November Book It! certificates. I am so proud of the kids for working so hard to earn a Book It! every month. Great job Laura and John!
I think this is one of my favorite hiding spots for Chippy! Sometimes that husband of mine has really good ideas.
Laura took part in the St. Andrew’s Lutheran Children’s Christmas Pageant today at the 8:30 service. It is the first time that she has wanted to be a part of it. At first, she wanted to be Mary, but then changed her mind and decided to be an angel. She worked hard to learn the music and did a great job with both the singing and her part. Maybe next year, she can convince John to participate!
…in order to get out to church for Christmas Pageant practice. It turned out to be a very good thing that we bought those kids of ours some shovels last weekend. They got right to work shoveling our front walk…
…while Andy got to work shoveling our driveway.
Together, they successfully cleared the front walk and driveway in about 20 minutes. Go Family! And what was I doing to contribute? Well, I was getting things ready to go inside the house while I drank nice, hot coffee, of course!
Two to four inches of the white stuff is expected and it looks so beautiful coming down!
