It was smiles all around for dinner at Lone Star Steakhouse with the family.

Mizzou Volleyball!
We, along with Brayden, went to the Mizzou Volleyball game this morning to watch our Tigers play Tennessee. The game was actually televised on the SEC Network. Mizzou won the match in three sets and it was fun to cheer on the Volleyball team. As predicted, we have very tired kids from yesterday. I suspect the rest of today will be tough…
Busy, Busy Saturday!
It was a busy, busy Saturday in the Kassel Household. Laura took a trip to St. Louis with Aunt Rachel and Alia. They spent the morning at the St. Louis Zoo seeing everything.
Then, they spent the afternoon at Disney on Ice. I am not 100% sure, but I think Laura enjoyed herself…
Laura also got to eat dinner at Red Robin! I was jealous… Meanwhile, back in Columbia, John got to have a sleepover at his friend Brayden’s house and Andy and I spent the evening at the Dothage Fun Complex with Football, Fire, and Friends.
We are going to have super tired kids tomorrow, but it doesn’t get much better than this!
Ah Friday…
Sid Weber Barbecue
Andy and I went to St. Louis for the evening to attend the annual Sid Weber Barbecue for Sigma Chi. As with previous years, the food was fantastic and it was a great time! Andy and I spent the evening talking to fraternity brothers from all over the St. Louis area, including one of Andy’s brothers from his days at WIU. One of the highlights for me was listening to the men sing “The Sweetheart of Sigma Chi.” I really do love that song! Unfortunately, the four hours flew by and we were back on the road for home too quickly. I will be tired tomorrow, but it was well worth it. Thanks to Uncle Jeremy for watching the kids so Andy and I could go!
