Laura finished her second year of Girl Scout Twilight Camp this evening. She earned the Junior-level Drawing badge and received two fun patches. She got to do a lot of different art projects that included making a wind chime out of silverware and making a drawing portfolio. Laura had a great time and is already looking forward to next year!

Friday Fun!
Since, Laura was not at Camp Mudd today, Kathryn came over to spend the day with us. The girls played in the morning and then we picked John up at noon from Camp Mudd. Laura left for Twilight Camp about 2:15, so John and Kathryn played the rest of the day. It was great for both kids because each of them got some time by themselves with Kathryn. It was a great way to spend a Friday!
From One Camp to Another
It was camp, camp, camp day here. Laura began the day at Camp Mudd. At about 2 pm, I picked her up from Camp Mudd and took her to Rock Bridge State Park for Girl Scout Twilight Camp. To say she was excited was an understatement. This year’s theme is “Art-Rageous” and Laura is in the Drawing #1 group.
As for John, he spent the day (and night) at Camp Mudd. I went out for Family Skit Night. This was Harry Potter week, so all the skits were Harry Potter-themed. He was excited to see me, but he was *also* excited to wave goodbye to me so that the campout could begin. He is getting so big!
