While I took John to the doctor for a sinus infection, Andy took Laura to dinner at Agave Mexican Restaurant.
The FCJ
Just like Laura did, John writes in his Family Communication Journal (FCJ) every Friday and then brings it home for one of us to write back to him.
This week, John wrote to Laura and her response was very cute. It appears that writing back in the FCJ is much more fun than having to write the FCJ every week. Laura genuinely enjoying responding and best of all is that she loves her brother with all her heart.
Sleepover!
Times Have Changed…
We made it back to Kid’s Workshop this Saturday morning for the first time in a long time. The kids have been going since they were toddlers and have built many projects over the years. In those days, Andy did most of the building with the kids mostly just using the hammer. Today, the kids built everything on their own. Andy and I only helped glue and hold the frames. Times have certainly changed….
John built a Football Toss Game.
Laura built a Chalkboard Door Hanger.
I foresee a time coming much more quickly than I would like when we do not go to Kid’s Workshops anymore.
