John’s Sunday School Class taped their Faith Stepping Stones – Psalm 23 – this week during Sunday School. He was nervous, but did a great job! Next Sunday, the video will be shown during the 8:30 service at church.
Service Project
John’s Cub Scout Den participated in Clean Up Columbia today. They planted trees at the Forum Nature area. John told me that it was a lot of fun and he was happy that he could help. Great job boys (and parents)!
Cookie Share
This year, Laura’s Girl Scout troop selected the University of Missouri Women’s and Children’s Hospital to receive the cookies from their Cookie Share Program. The troop delivered the cookies today and the hospital posted on Facebook! While Laura did not get to help deliver the cookies to the hospital, she sold some of the donated cookies. Thanks to everyone who bought cookies from Laura for the cookie share. I am so proud of her and this great Junior Girl Scout troop for all their hard work!
National Beer Day!
To celebrate National Beer Day, we tried lots of different kinds of beers with Jeremy. The Blueberry Maple Stout from Saugatuck Brewing Company was absolutely amazing and my favorite! Now, to figure out how to get more since we got this beer on our Spring Break trip to Illinois. I see a road trip in our near future…
Let Spring Baseball Begin!
John had his first practice of the spring baseball season tonight. There are twelve members of his new team. He had a great time at practice and is looking forward to their next practice on Sunday!

This is just the parts quote to replace one of the exhaust manifolds on the truck. Total cost including labor will be anywhere from $700-$850 on Thursday, depending on how many bolts break when they remove the old exhaust manifold. Fun. I don’t feel like being an adult today…
