This is just the beginnings of the boxes plus other stuff. This pile will be moved to Jeremy’s tomorrow to make room for more piles. It will all be worth it in the end. The house is staged!
Family!
Even when you are incredibly busy, you still need family. We took a day off from packing and staging the house to meet Dave, Kristena, Avry, and Addyson in Kansas City. It was such a fun time and I am so glad that we went!
We went to LEGOLAND Discovery Center in Kansas City. The kids had a great time. Actually, we all had fun. How could you not have a great time with Legos everywhere!
I was mesmerized by the Wizard of Oz story made from Legos. The display included Dorothy’s house flying away from the tornado, Munchkinland, the Flying Monkeys, the Castle, the Hot Air Balloon, and the Emerald City. Amazing!
After eating some tasty Kansas City barbecue for lunch, we spent the rest of the day in the hotel pool. Family and fun. There is nothing better!

American Girl
So proud of this kid! I was expecting a big argument, but Laura went through all of her American Girl things and picked out 5 outfits and a few pairs of shoes to keep while we go through the process to sell the house. Everything else is packed! She must want her own room a lot to give up three large boxes worth of American Girl stuff for a while…
