The Kassel Family Project Life 365

Today was the end.  We no longer own 401 Harold Court.  The new owners took early possession this past Sunday and everything was finalized this morning.  I said my goodbye on Friday when we carried out the last of our things.  Thanks to everyone, but especially Shelley Loesing (our realtor), for all your help and support during these last four months.  We will miss our first house.  Fifteen years saw us Kassels move in as two and out as four.  A lot of life happened there, but it is time for the next owners.  May they love her as much as we did.

I feel as though I have run the unpacking marathon!  Two days and about eight hours, but two kids are unpacked!  Just need to decorate the walls now.  What I can’t believe is that all their stuff that is now taking up two rooms and two closets was all in one room and closet before…

While Laura is at Kathryn’s 11th Birthday Party sleepover, John had Caleb spend the night in our new house.  It was pizza, playing, and video games!

We signed the closing paperwork on 401 Harold Court today.  The new owners will take early possession on Sunday and the loan will fund on Tuesday.  Our time with Harold Court is nearly over.

Want to make a ten-year old happy?  Buy her new furniture!  She was so excited during delivery today that she was squeaky and talking in a voice only dogs could hear.  Love my Red and happy that she is happy!

I decided to unpack some of the frivolous boxes.  I needed a break from the necessities!  I started setting up our new dining room hutch with our china and crystal while I enjoyed a glass of wine.
