Family Photos!

This year, we had Tamara Dee Photography take our family photos in our new home!  We started in front of our fireplace with the whole family.

Then, Tamara took a couple of the kids.  This is my favorite.

The kids couldn’t wait to get pictures taken in their rooms.  John went first and he made sure to get his picture taken sitting on top of his bed.

I love the new photos!  Time to make our “A New Home for the Holidays” Christmas cards and order some of these for the frames in the house.

Gifts

My office, the Assessment Resource Center, really was amazing this past week.  Between beautiful flowers delivered to the hospital on Tuesday and a gift basket full of everything that I could possibly need to relax (meals, chocolate, Egg Nog, comfy pajamas, and shower gel to name just some things), I am very thankful.

Big Tree Cycling, Andy’s cycling team, also really came through with lots of food.  I won’t be cooking for a while!  Between all of this, we both feel really cared for.  It has been a trying week and knowing that people think enough of you to want to help means everything.

Although sometimes, meaning everything gets you the unexpected – a good laugh.  When picking up my truck from work today, Andy discovered this.  I will think twice about giving out the code again!  🙂
