Andy began installing the new lights for the back of our house.
He finished one before it got dark and I really like the new light. I am looking forward to him installing the other two.
West Middle School
How can this be? Andy took Laura to West Middle School for a visit tonight.
After a short orientation, Laura participated in a scavenger hunt to learn her way around and also to meet some of the teachers.
She only has 18 days left at Ridgeway Elementary. Time has truly flown by.
Bible!
John received his Spark Bible from St. Andrew’s Lutheran Church today. This is a tradition for the third graders. Pastor Peter talked about this tradition and how it is another step of faith.
John was so proud of his bible and spent most of the rest of the church service looking through and reading some of the “stories.”

Sleepover!
While Laura is away at a lock-in at Tiger Academy of Gymnastics with her best friend, John had one of his best friends, Caleb, over for a sleepover. It was lots of Hot Wheels and Xbox time for the boys! I have only seen them for maybe 10 minutes for the entire night. They appear when food is required to keep them going…
Green and Black Ride
Andy has been looking forward to the Big Tree Cycling Green and Black Ride picking back up for the year. He got to enjoy cycling time with the team and pizza and beer at Shakespeare’s afterwards.
Interesting Dinner Conversation…
It was interesting dinner conversation at the Kassel Household tonight. First, Laura decided to pass gas, which led to John saying that he thinks he needs to marry Reagan Lyman (his “girlfriend” who gave him the best Valentine EVER) because she likes when he burps. This led to Andy nearly spitting his wine back out and choking while I was laughing so hard that I was crying. God help me. At least, they are cute. Why did we have kids again?!?
