This is my White Elephant gift for tomorrow’s work holiday party – two pre-mixed Candy Cane Martinis and a box of Girl Scout Thin Mint cookies. It just might be awesome.
Chippy and Melty
We have been having a fun time every morning looking for Chippy, our Elf on the Shelf, and Melty, his snowman friend. They find some interesting places to watch over us every day!
Merry Christmas To Me!
A fire sale of old kits for Big Tree Cycling means that I now have a real kit, arm warmers, and socks. Look out world!
Santa!
We took the kids to visit Santa this evening. Laura asked for Copic markers, an extra-large sketch pad, and LEGO sets. John asked for Nerf guns (of course), LEGO sets, and Splatoon (a Wii U game). I am glad they gave Santa lots of choices! I was also amused to hear Santa ask if the LEGO sets that they wanted were expensive.
For the last two years, Bass Pro Shops has given free picture frames if you visit Santa on Mondays to Thursdays. I really like this year’s frame!
Sunday Night Dinner
We started a new tradition about a month ago – Sunday night dinners at our dining room table. I love it!
Cookie Baking!
It is Christmas Cookie baking day! We are making Grandma Vi’s Oleo Cookies, Gingerbread Cookies, and Andes Mints Cookie Bars. We will not get them all baked today because we started late and two of the doughs have to chill, but the kids and I are still having fun!
POTD Time!
It is “Picture of the Day” time. Stop watching television and smile for 30 seconds…
