My first ride with Andy was on April 10 and we only averaged 11.7 miles per hour. Today, we rode the same route and we averaged 14.9 miles per hour. I actually didn’t feel like I was holding him back and, between my two bikes, I crossed the 200-mile mark since April. Yay for improvement!
Gymnastics Camp
Laura is attending Tiger Academy’s Summer Gymnastics Camp again this year. She had so much fun last year and couldn’t wait to go again this year. It will be a busy, tiring three days for her complete with a lock-in on Saturday night, but I know she will have tons of fun!
Girl Scout Cookie Credit
Chalk up another $60 towards Laura’s Girl Scout Summer Camp. Her Cookie Credit arrived today. She sold 300 boxes and that earned her $60. Great job, kiddo!
Happy Birthday to Me!
Today is my 44th birthday. We didn’t do much because I had to work and John had a ballgame. I did manage to drink a couple of beers and we had Culver’s for dinner. I also got a really good laugh out of Andy’s Facebook post. I am so happy to be the greatest wife…
Memorial Day
We began our Memorial Day at the parade in Downtown Columbia. It is something of a family tradition for us and we go every year that we are in town. Laura and John especially look forward to it. My favorite part of the parade is the bagpipers… …while the kids love seeing the Dawn Patrol…
Back-up Camera!
Andy installed my birthday present today – a back-up camera for the truck! He hit some bumps and had some snags along the way, but the camera is in and working. Love it!
Pool!
The Vanderveen Crossing pool is open! Let summer begin!!!
