Andy spent some time on the telephone with our Sun Solar representative today. It looks like we are moving forward with getting solar panels on our roof!

Goodbye Mom
The sky cried this morning, but the sun shines this afternoon – loss and hope. I already miss you so very much, Mom. I see so much of you in Laura Marianne and she is my reminder that you are still with me. I will now be her center like you were to me. Thank you for everything that you did for me. I love you.

Groundhog
The groundhog is back and dug yet another tunnel under our driveway. This calls for more Quikrete! Eventually, there will be no space along the driveway for him to dig because it will be completely lined with Quikrete…
Optimism
We arrived at the hospital this morning to the news that my mom passed her breathing test. They are going to try to remove the ventilator and see how she does. By the end of the day, she was breathing with high-flow oxygen and they are considering moving her to a regular room tomorrow! I am hoping that she continues to improve.
I came home today because I have to get back to work tomorrow. I am physically and mentally exhausted, but Andy suggested that I go on my weekly bike ride anyway. He was absolutely right. This great group of women and just getting out to spin was exactly what I needed.
